Merrell University offers
continuous enrollment with classes starting
once per month. (We reserve the right
to limit or change class start dates)
Students must be enrolled with the Director
of Admissions at least ten days in advance
of the class starting date.

BASIC ENROLLMENT
REQUIREMENTS
Prior to acceptance by the State Board
of Cosmetology all applicants must complete
a Student Enrollment Application. The
applicant must be at least 17 years of
age, and provide the following:
- A copy of birth certificate
or driver's license;
- A copy of diploma, transcript,
or GED certification;
- An enrollment fee of
$25.00 to the Department of Economic
Development, Missouri State Board of
Cosmetology; and
- Two recent 2x2 current
photographs.
Note: Application must be sent
and the applicant must be accepted
before the above criteria is needed.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Merrell University is accredited by the
National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology
Arts and Sciences, Alexandria, VA, and
approved by the United States Department
of Education for many state and federal
financial assistance programs. Application
for Federal Student Aid may be obtained
from the Financial Aid Office. You can
also complete an application online at
the FAFSA web site from the U.S. Department
of Education at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
Financial Aid is available to those who
qualify.
